New Additions to the Forest

Our team has been busy building this early spring. A new generator shed was built next to the Forest cabin to keep it safely stored. Also, a new extension to our wood store will keep the firewood dry and ready to sell to keep you warm on colder day. Big thanks to the team!

Information Bothy

For some time work has progressed on an information bothy at the Forest entrance where a map and information can be diplayed to welcome visitors. There is also a QR code link to make donations to the forest and there will be a whiteboard for added information.

FSC Certification

Today, 9th March 2017, we heard that Aigas Community Forest had achieved FSC certification. This represents our commitment to responsible Forest Management and the acievement of certain standars. It also allows us access to certified timber markets, and a better price for our timber.
